The Academic Registry, in a joint application with Student Services and Information Services and Systems, have been granted the Cabinet Offices Customer Service Excellence Award which is given in recognition of individuals or teams who have gone the extra mile to deliver outstanding Customer Service.
The Award was based on submitted documentation, in addition to a two-day assessment visit in March. The assessment included interviews with University students, staff and external partners to ensure that we met the required level of service in five areas:
Raymond Ciborowski, Registrar of Swansea University said: "We are very proud that staff from our University have been recognised again for this award. Our Library and Information Services were one of a small number of university libraries and ICT services in the UK to achieve the Customer Service Excellence Award back in 2007. Now our Professional Services Teams have shown that they too can provide an outstanding service. The joint application award is a first for a University from Wales and highlights the excellent service that the teams provide all year round to our academic community."
