Invited address at key event in France

Dr Claire Williams was invited to present her work at a recent event organised by the University of Angers, Laboratoire de Psychologie des Pays de Loire (LPPL), France.

Organised by a team led by Dr Phillipe Allain, the event comprised a day of talks on “Disorders of Social Cognition after Head Trauma: Theoretical and Clinical Aspects”, delivered by leading brain injury experts from across Europe. Dr Williams presented novel findings from her work on social cognition after traumatic brain injury, placing particular emphasis on the possible role of organic alexithymia in the expression of aggressive behaviours after head trauma.
