Welcome to the Planning and Strategic Projects Unit (PSPU) website.

The University’s Strategic Plan provides a comprehensive framework for action. Swansea University’s vision is to be a “research-led university of international quality”. Our staff, students and stakeholders will all play a critical role in shaping our future, so the Planning and Strategic Projects Unit (PSPU) was established to coordinate the implementation of strategy and to help improve the University’s performance in managing change.

The Planning and Strategic Projects Unit is responsible for the development, implementation, and review of the University’s corporate and business planning processes. It also provides a programme and project management resource through which the implementation of the projects and activities critical to the University’s transformation can be coordinated and directed.
