The Swansea University Business School’s BSc Accounting and Finance undergraduate degree has been awarded its ninth exemption from the Association of Certified Accountants (ACCA).

This now gives Swansea University FULL exemption (from all 9 papers) at the Fundamentals level of the ACCA professional qualification. Students with an Accounting and Finance Degree who take the Auditing and Tax optional modules can now leave the University as part-qualified accountants and just have to sit the 5 Professional level examinations in order to become fully qualified. This is a huge boost to their Employment prospects.

Accredited by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the BSc Accounting and Finance 3 year programme (full-time) will help fast-track an accountancy career by giving exemptions from key professional examinations. Taught by qualified accountants with a wealth of industry experience, this programme scored 96% in the most recent National Student Satisfaction (NSS) survey. Students take compulsory modules in management accounting, financial accounting, corporate finance, financial services and taxation, plus optional modules from a wide selection.
