Speaker information:
He is currently chairman of the Eurofer Environment Committee and is a member of the Tata Sons Climate Change Steering Committee, the Eurofer Climate Change Committee and the World Steel Association Environmental Policy Committee.
He has a B.Eng (Hons) in Biochemical Engineering from the University of Wales, Swansea; a Ph.D in Energy Conservation/Heat Transfer from the University of the West of England in Bristol, and an MBA from Warwick University. He is a Chartered Engineer, a Chartered Environmentalist and a Member of Institute of Chemical Engineers.
Lecture summary: “Climate change and the steel industry – part of the solution not part of the problem”. A public lecture series on what impacts can be made on the changing of the climate.
