As a postgraduate student you will normally be expected to cover both your tuition fees and maintenance costs such as rent and bills. The cost of your tuition will depend on the course you choose and whether you are a home, EU or international student.
Your living costs will vary according to where you choose to study and your preferred type of accommodation. Typically, annual living costs for a postgraduate student are the region of £6,000 to £8,000. Swansea is one of the cheapest places to study in the UK and rents in the locality are well below the national average. Typically a student in Swansea might expect to pay £50 - £65 rent per week.
