Our research group
The AMQP group has nine academic staff and conducts research in positron and antihydrogen physics, cold atoms, quantum control, ultra-fast phenomena and nano-scale science. The group also houses the Analytical Laser Spectroscopy Unit. Our nano-scale work is done in collaboration with Swansea’s Colleges of Engineering and Medicine and within the Multidisciplinary Nanotechnology Centre and the Centre for NanoHealth. Our funders include the EPSRC, the Leverhulme Trust, the Royal Society, the EU and the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales, as well as several industrial sources.
