Sybil Crouch is head of Cultural Services at Swansea University. Not only did she build up the Taliesin to the great institution it is today but it was her idea and hard work which led to the founding of the Egypt Centre and the amazing public facing work it does. Without Sybil both may have become very inward looking institutions. She ensures that the Taliesin works with a huge number of community groups such as Vetch Veg, schools in community first areas, etc. For Sybil art is truly for all. Not only has she been a great champion of the arts in Swansea, but in Wales and beyond. She is untiring, also working as a councillor, and in the past was Chair of the Arts Council Wales. A true professional who is also caring and inspiring.
