Benefits to pupils

Give your pupils the opportunity to:

  • Raise their awareness of studying and living in a university
  • Raise their awareness of the variety of subject disciplines
  • Talk to current university students to learn what student life and students are like
  • Extend their knowledge, understanding and skills
  • Make informed decisions about GCSE and post-16 choices

  Subject guides

Designed for young people thinking about university study, the guides discuss what is involved in studying a subject and how content may vary, how students spend their time, and what skills are gained from degree level study in that subject.  Some of the guides also have a student's story to give a real flavour of university life.

  Useful links about careers

There are links here to resources to help young people explore the careers open to them after university level study.
