Travelling to our Open Days

Find out the best ways to travel to an Open Day at our Singleton Park Campus

Using public transport

We strongly recommend travelling by public transport as routes around the University can be very busy with traffic on Open Day. You could consider staying in the city the night before to avoid the busiest travel time and get a feel for the city.

If arriving by train…

Student Ambassadors will meet all visitors arriving at the Train Station and direct them to the free shuttle bus service which will run from the Train Station to the Singleton Park Campus from 9.30am.

If arriving by bus…

Bus services are available from the Quadrant Bus Station to Singleton Park Campus. Click here for more information.

If you’re bringing groups by coach, please contact sro@swansea.ac.uk to tell us the number of visitors and your time of arrival so we know to expect you.

Arriving by car

Parking is available on the Singleton Park Campus and at the Recreation Ground Car Park which is a short five-minute walk from Campus.

Please be aware that routes around the University can be very busy with traffic on Open Day. Please allow sufficient time for your journey.

Parking is free for all visitors parking on Singleton Park Campus (postcode SA2 8PP) or at the Recreation Ground Car Park (postcode SA2 0AU).

Accessible routes and parking

We aim to make our Open Days as accessible as possible for all of our visitors. If you have a disability or require assistance, please call us on 01792 295784 or email sro@swansea.ac.uk

Alternatively, please make a note of your disability on the booking form and a member of staff will contact you in advance of the Open Day.

Travelling between campuses

There will be free shuttle buses running regularly throughout the day between Singleton Park Campus and Bay Campus for any visitors who would like to visit both campuses. We encourage visitors to use these buses to travel between campuses to reduce traffic and congestion.

Help on the day

Our student ambassadors will be at the Train Station and the Recreation Ground Car Park to help you on the day. They can help with any questions you may have on the day!
