Swansea University Opportunity Award

Are you struggling to pay your rent?

Are you worried about paying the bond or deposit for next year's accommodation?

Do you have additional costs due to travelling a substantial distance to and from university?

Are you worried about paying for Child Care?

Or for school holiday 'Kids Clubs'?

If so, we are here to help!

The Swansea University Opportunity Award is available year round to assist students experiencing financial difficulty for all sorts of reasons; from the costs involved with studying abroad to those incurred when providing care for a dependent, and many more in between!

 Did you know...?

You do not need to be in dire financial straits to be eligible for an award (please get in touch with Money@UniLife for more information).

If you are a UK or EU student studying full or part-time on a mainstream undergraduate or postgraduate course, you are eligible to apply to the Fund.

The Fund is based on student income, not on parental income like Student Loans/Grants.

Any award you receive does not have to be repaid.

Applications may be submitted more than once in an academic year.

How do I Apply?

The Swansea University Hardship Fund is available to apply using our new online form which is available here: https://intranet.swan.ac.uk/studenthardship

Students will need to log on using their intranet log-in details. If you have any questions about the form please contact Money@UniLife.
