Swansea Medical Society

One of the aims of the Swansea Medical Society is to establish a network of co-workers with an interest in promoting Welsh and ‘Welshness’ within the healthcare service in Wales and to promote awareness of Welsh medical research.

Through a series of monthly talks, there will be opportunities to share experiences and invest time in furthering our awareness of the distinct character of the health service, medical research and training in Wales as well as the importance of Welsh as a medium between health service workers and users.

Guest speakers will include experts on the history of medicine in Wales, medicine and healthcare in Wales today, alongside the innovative work that is ongoing within the medical, biomedical and healthcare service in Wales.

Although there will be a distinctly Welsh ethos and vibe to the society, everyone is welcome.
