Swansea University Medical School is the official main sponsor of The Autism Expo 2015, Wales’ premier social health care event, to take place this month.

The Expo will be held at Cardiff City Stadium’s House of Sport on Thursday 15 October from 10am to 4pm.

The event, the only one of its kind in Wales, will host The Social Health Care Expo; the Lifestyle & Mobility Expo and The Autism Expo. The Autism Expo which Swansea University sponsors will hold seminars including Early Intervention for Children with Autism; Bio-Medical & Bio-Energetic Treatments available for Autism Spectrum Conditions and Working with Autism.

Dr Gareth Noble who runs the MSc Autism and Related Conditions programme at Swansea University Medical School said: “We are proud to be the main sponsor in support of events that promote an increase awareness of autism. This event will showcase the new opportunities being developed within Swansea University Medical School to support people living with autism, via training or research. This goes with the Medical School objective of having a positive impact on the lives of people living with autism.”
