To celebrate LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) History Month this year, the LGBT+ Staff Network will be holding a free event titled Real Lives, Real Experiences.  Admission is free, and is open to all staff, students and visitors.

The event will mark the launch of the new LGBT+ Allies Programme.  Following this, there will be a panel discussion featuring members of Swansea’s LGBT+ community, discussing issues including identity, coming out, stereotypes, myth-busting, and language.  


The agenda is as follows:

12.00 – 12.05              Welcome and Introduction (David Williams, Director of HR)

12.05 – 12.10              Launch of LGBT+ Allies Programme

12.10 – 12.30              Panel discussion
