    About the speaker: Dr Catrin Williams is Senior Lecturer in New Testament Studies at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, having previously taught at Bangor University and Keble College, University of Oxford.

    She has published widely on the Johannine literature and the Jewish context of early Christianity, including a study of the 'I am' sayings in John's Gospel and a commentary on the Book of Revelation.

    Her current research projects include a monograph on the reception of Isaiah in the Gospel of John, an edited volume on John and Jewish apocalyptic, and an edited collection of essays to mark the fiftieth anniversary of C.H. Dodd's work on the Gospel of John.

    Catrin is a member of several editorial boards and currently serves on the steering committee for the John, Jesus, and History Group in the Society of Biblical Literature in the United States.
