    Islam Awareness & Cultural Week

    Swansea University’s Islamic Society (I-soc) is hosting a week of activities across campus – including an exhibition, lunch, lectures and group discussion – between 10am and 5pm on Monday 28th February – Thursday 3rd March 2001.


     Islam Week Exhibition

    Aim: Raise awareness of the culture and faith of both muslims and non-muslims.

    Time: Lunch will be served between 12.15pm to 12.45pm on Monday 28 February 2011. Exhibition and lectures (open to all) between 10am and 5pm, Monday 28th February to Thursday 3rd March 2001.

    Venue: Marquee next to Fulton House, Swansea University, SA2 8PP.

    Admission: Free.  

    Other: Everyone welcome.

    Note:

    The resident Imam leads the five daily prayers at the Mosque and provides counseling and guidance to staff, students and the local community. In addition, the Islamic Society runs an active programme of activities throughout the year including: Friday Sermons; Weekly Study Circles in English and Arabic; Qur’anic Studies; and Children Classes.  Courses are all also available to those interested in learning Arabic.
