    Capitalising on Low Carbon Technologies – accessing research and development

    This Knowledge Exchange Wales business breakfast event will offer Welsh businesses the opportunity to learn about the Low Carbon Research Institute which has been established to unite and promote the diverse range of energy research in Wales, in order to deliver a low carbon future.


    There will also be a case study of Ultra-Efficient Lighting collaboration between academia and industry in South Wales, and the Carbon Trust will introduce the new ‘Entrepreneurs Fast Track’ service and explain how clean tech ventures can access a customised package of Research and development grant funding.

    Venue: The Village Hotel, Swansea

    Knowledge Exchange Wales (KEW) – a collaboration between Swansea and Bangor Universities – offers specialist expertise and facilities to industry.  It is the first network in Wales to be a member of Global Connect, giving members a platform on which to develop international collaborations.
