Benchmark tools to help maximise business growth
An innovative business improvement tool for software and IT companies will be discussed at a series of business events running across Wales in April, including a workshop at The Village Hotel in Swansea on 6 April. Software Alliance Wales is bringing a unique certification scheme to Wales, enabling technology businesses to benchmark themselves and maximise opportunities for growth.
The current economic climate has made trading and growth difficult for many companies, but the certification scheme from Software Alliance Wales has been developed by SMEs for SMEs and will help companies accentuate the positives and prepare themselves for a bright future.
Stand Out – Get Credible – Compete’ is aimed at small businesses in the IT and software sectors, and will provide attendees with the tools they need to differentiate themselves from their competition and ultimately focus on what’s important to their business. Speakers will include Neil Cornish, Managing Director of M7 Managed Services, a Fast Growth 50 company, who has already benefitted from this scheme and will share the secrets of the company’s success.
The Software Alliance Wales programme, which is led by Swansea University in collaboration with the University of Glamorgan, Bangor University, Aberystwyth University and University of Wales, Trinity Saint David, comprises four specific strands identified to support businesses in Wales.
ICT Company Certification is one of those strands, and the recognised Accredit UK Standard is offered exclusively to the Convergence areas of Wales through the programme.
A good return on investment is vital to businesses, and for an investment that equates to the cost of a daily sandwich, certification can bring a return equivalent to the value of a daily three course meal.
‘Stand Out – Get Credible – Compete’ takes place on Wednesday 6 April from 6pm at The Village Hotel, Swansea.
