Accessing University Knowledge
Knowledge Exchange Wales (KEW), a collaboration between Swansea and Bangor Universities, is to host an open evening offering specialist expertise and facilities to people working in business and industry.
Date: Monday 3rd October 2011
Time: 5.00pm until 7.30pm
Venue: Swansea University, ‘Surf Room’, Fulton House
This event will allow attendees to:
• Find out more about University collaborations and business facing projects and how to signpost them to relevant contacts
• Meet project teams and other key personnel within the University
• Network with other organisations and businesses
The evening will be introduced by the Vice Chancellor for Swansea University, Professor Richard Davies, followed by short presentations and case studies showing how Colleges of Engineering, Science and Medicine work with business.
After the talks there will be an opportunity to meet with people from more than 18 different projects.
KEW is the first network in Wales to be a member of Global Connect which gives members a platform to develop international collaborations.
