There will be a fun-packed programme of activities of offer, suitable for swimmers of all ages and abilities.

And one of the Open Day’s highlights will undoubtedly be the opportunity to meet and compete against Swansea’s Paralympic heroes, including gold medalists David Roberts, Graham Edmunds, and Rob Welbourn.  Paralympic medalists Liz Johnson and Gareth Duke will also be taking part in the fun.

Some of the many activities on offer include:
    - Learning to swim with adults or children (subject to demand)
    - Improving technique
    - Getting fitter
    - Surf fitness
    - Snorkelling
    - Take part in fun whacky swimming races
    - Win a prize in a free prize draw
    - Face painting.

The Pool’s friendly staff will be on hand throughout the day to provide advice and information about the Pool and its services, and to find out what visitors would like from their National Pool.

Jane Draper, the Pool’s General Manager said: “We anticipate a really fun-packed day and hope to welcome visitors old and new to the Pool.

“So many of our swimmers have expressed how proud they are of the Paralympians who are based here and we’re sure they’ll have very warm reception at our Open Day.

“We would like to thank the squad members for taking time out of their busy training schedules to take part, and to all those people who have worked so hard to put together such a great programme.”

Places are limited for some Open Day activities, so booking is essential. For further information, call +0044 (0)1792 513513 or visit the Pool's website by following this link
