Ideas Igloo Roadshow comes to Swansea

The Ideas Igloo Roadshow is on the look out for budding entrepreneurs in colleges and universities across the UK.

The new initiative, which is coordinated by the Make Your Mark campaign in partnership with Microsoft UK, aims to inspire innovation and ideas generation amongst further and higher education students.

    Date: Friday, 7th March

    Time: 10am – 12.30pm

Location: The Atrium in the Digital Technium, Swansea University

Students will be able to visit the giant inflatable igloos on campus for activity sessions designed to help them generate ideas and think about how to turn them into a reality.

Later in the day, they will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas in front of a panel of judges, including entrepreneur Alex Tew, for the chance to win a prize of £150.

The winners will go forward to a national final, where they'll compete to win £2,000 plus a package of Microsoft products to help them get their business underway.
