German writer, rock musician and filmmakers visit Swansea
Novelist and dramatist Feridun Zaimoglu, from Kiel, and critic Karin Yesilada, from Munich, visit Swansea University on Wednesday, June 25.
At 2.30pm, Karin Yesilada will give a talk on Turkish-German literature and Feridun Zaimoglu, a writer in residence with the Centre for Contemporary German Literature at Swansea University, will read from his latest novel, Liebesbrand, in the Robert Recorde Room, Faraday Building.
A TV production team from Berlin will be present, making a documentary for ARTE about the encounter in Swansea between Feridun Zaimoglu and Thees Uhlmann, from Hamburg, musician and writer and lead singer with the band Tomte.
All are welcome.
