Dr Penny Sartori is an Intensive Care Staff Nurse at Singleton and Morriston Hospitals in Swansea.
She is renowned for undertaking the largest and first long-term clinical study of "Near Death Experiences" within an IntensiveTherapy Unit. Her research was supervised by Professor Peter Fenwick (Consultant Neuropsychiatrist) and Professor Paul Badham (Professor of Theology). Dr Sartori speaks regularly, both nationally and internationally at conferences and makes frequent Media appearances including Print, Radio and Television. She was awarded a PhD at the University of Wales Lampeter in 2005 for her research into "Near Death Experiences".
