Swansea University’s Department of Adult Continuing Education (DACE), which supports almost 6,000 enrolments a year, offers a wide variety of stimulating part-time, community-based courses for adults in the South West Wales region.

DACE offers courses in areas including Information Technology, Welsh, the Performing Arts and Humanities, Community Development Studies, and Higher Education Certificates in Counselling and Community Arts Practice.

The Department is primarily community-based, with over 90% of its provision taking place off-campus at venues throughout the Amman Valley, Llanelli, Neath and Port Talbot, Pembrokeshire, and Swansea.

DACE offers a part-time MA in Lifelong Learning, and from this September, the Department will be offering its BA Humanities part-time degree in Pembrokeshire.
