Child and Adult nursing go hand in hand for Swansea couple
While other students are working hard on clinical placements or thinking about assignments, two Nursing students from Swansea University's School of Health Science are celebrating instead – after announcing their engagement.

Children's student nurse Bethan Tregembo, aged 23, from Treboeth, and Adult student nurse Daniel Ward, aged 28, from Brynmill, started spending time together during a social evening at the University.
Bethan said: "Dan had been stabbed in an unprovoked attack while in London just a few weeks earlier and was going through a very difficult time. After a chat we exchanged phone numbers, and talking about things brought us closer."
The couple, who are driven by a desire to help vulnerable people, shared the same group for lectures and soon enough, love blossomed between them.
"On our third date he took me for a walk at Rhossili on a sunny day. We crossed over to Worm's Head where we sat and watched the seals. Suddenly Dan surprised me with cold Champagne and two glasses," added Bethan.
The couple, who aim to get married in two years time, recently got engaged during a holiday to Barcelona.
Bethan said: "On the first night of our holiday this summer, we were walking along Las Ramblas towards the sea when he got down on one knee holding a beautiful diamond and topaz ring!
"We hope to get married in September 2010, which is a year after we qualify, so we can save some money. We're so excited.
"We don’t want a huge wedding but it would be nice to have plenty of friends and family there. All our friends are really excited about it – of course they all want to come and hopefully we’ll have plenty of them there."
