10th Europe-East Asia Think-Tank Dialogue Forum
Dr Alan Collins, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Politics and International Relations, has been invited to present a discussion paper on the 'ASEAN Charter' at the 10th EU-East Asia Think-Tank Dialogue Forum from 12th – 15th October in Cebu, The Philippines.
Sponsored by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the Dialogue Forum is a Track-II event bringing government officials and experts from Asia and Europe together to discuss "Institutional development in Regional Organisations: Charter-Making in the EU and ASEAN; Perspectives from Europe and East Asia."
The EU-East Asia Think-Tank Dialogue Forum aims to dialogue on common issues facing the respective regions, to exchange best practices and lessons learned in meeting similar challenges and to provide inputs to inter-regional cooperation.
