What is ‘Informal Learning’?

‘Informal Learning’ is the learning that takes place away from the classroom and students who use their Welsh outside the Classroom environment will learn the language much quicker.

‘Informal Learning’ are events / opportunities for students to hear and speak Welsh in order to improve the skills they have learned in class. We will be running informal events throughout the academic year and you will find information about these events here. Your local ‘Menter Iaith’ will also have information about events in your area.  Their contact details are listed below:

If you want to discuss the informal learning opportunities with us, please call us on (01792) 60 20 70
