Karen was formally a lecturer at Swansea Law School, SIHE and an Associate Lecturer with the Open University, and was previously employed as Training Manager for the Child Poverty Action Group, specialising in Social Security and Housing Law. She has wide ranging experience of teaching law on a variety of business and professional courses, including MBA and ACCA, and has held advisory roles on the training of legal executives and paralegals and in the delivery of distance learning courses to students of English Law. She has been a tutor at the School of Law, Swansea University since 1999.
