College of Law and Criminology Scholarships for LLM Degrees (Home/EU Students)

Every year, the College of Law is offering a number of Master's Scholarships (towards tuition fees) for UK/EU students pursuing their LLM course in Swansea.

Eligibility

You must have, or expect to achieve, a minimum 2:1 honours degree (or equivalent). To check whether your GPA is equivalent, please check http://www.swansea.ac.uk/international/students/your-country/ (under Europe)

You must hold an offer to study on an eligible master’s course at Swansea University from September 2016.

Funding

Each Swansea University Master’s Scholarship is worth £3000 towards the tuition fees of the programme of study.

Awards are available for both full-time and part-time study. For students studying part-time, the award will be made on a pro-rata basis.

How to Apply

To apply you will need to complete a Swansea University Master’s Scholarship application form. All eligible applicants who are offered a place to study at Swansea University on an eligible course will be sent a Swansea University Master’s Scholarship application form with their offer letter.

You should apply for your course as soon as possible so that you can apply for the scholarship with plenty of time. Scholarships may be offered to exceptional candidates prior to the closing date. You are advised, therefore, to apply as soon as possible.

The closing date for receipt of scholarship applications is Friday 22nd July 2016.

IDO Scholarships for students from Cyprus, Italy, Greece and Spain

The International Development Office (IDO) is offering a number of International Excellence and Merit scholarships worth up to £6000 for students from Cyprus/Italy/Greece/Spain.

 You can apply for the International Excellence or Merit Scholarships if you:

  • are a national of (or permanently domiciled in)Cyprus/Italy/Greece/Spain
  • are enrolling on an undergraduate or postgraduate course at Swansea University for the first time in September 2016 OR have already submitted your application and hold an offer to study at Swansea University in September 2016

International Excellence Scholarships 

Students with a history of academic and personal excellence are invited to apply for our International Excellence Scholarships worth up to £4000 for Postgraduate study

Please note that students applying for MPhil or PhD are not eligible to apply for the PG Excellence Scholarships and students currently studying at Swansea are not eligible to apply for this scholarship. 

International Merit Scholarships 

We are looking for enthusiastic students with ambition. Worth £2000 these Postgraduate Merit scholarships are a mark of the potential we see in you for your time at Swansea University and awarded in your first year of study. 

All Postgraduate applicants must be enrolling on an eligible course at Swansea University for the first time in September 2016

Please note that students applying for MPhil or PhD are not eligible to apply for the PG Merit Scholarships and students currently studying at Swansea are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
