Mr Adedoyin Ademola Afun (Nigeria)
Afun completed his LLM in International Commercial and Maritime Law in 2007. He is presently working as a Broker / Claims Handler (Marine Cargo) with Nacora International Insurance Brokers, providing single shipment insurance cover for Kuehne and Nagel shipments as well as interested third parties. He also advises on Kuehne and Nagel freight liability matters within the Claims Centre.

Michele Autuori (Italy)
Michele obtained his LL.M. in International Commercial and Maritime Law in 2010. He is also the recipient of the IISTL Prize for the Best Law Projects for the academic year 2008-09. Michele is currently a trainee at Watson, Farley & Williams (branch of Rome) in the Shipping Finance department. Michele areas of practice focus on loan agreement, security packages, arrest of vessel, drafting of commercial documentation, sale and purchase of vessels and contentious matter.

Michael Biltoo (UK)
Michael obtained his LLM in International Maritime Law in 2005. He is currently an Assistant Solicitor with Waltons and Morse. Michael works on insurance, cargo recovery and charterparty disputes cases but his practice area has particular focus on charterparty disputes, advising both owners and charterers in non-contentious and contentious matters (the latter giving him experience in a number of arbitration references).

Patrick Mbanefoh Odozi Esq. (Nigeria)
Patrick obtained his LLM in International Commercial and Maritime Law in 2007. He is currently the Principal Solicitor and Head of LEXIS LEGAL Chambers. His main areas of practice cover Intellectual Property, Admiralty, Real property & Conveyancing, Secured Credit documentation and Banks debt recoveries. Patrick is also the author of the book “The Duty of Good Faith & the Remedy of Avoidance – In Marine Insurance Contracts” , which was published in 2009 and editor-in chief of the Journal of Commercial and Maritime Law.

Mudit Singh (India)
After successful completion of the LLM in International Maritime Law (with distinction) in 2007, Mudit joined the South of England Protection & Indemnity Club as a Claims Handler and is working under the same profile till date. Job responsibilities includes handling cargo, personal injury and Freight Demurrage & Defence claims from inception to settlement. This involves appointing lawyers, correspondents, surveyors and consultants to safeguard the interest of the Members (insured). His responsibilities also include analysing commercial contracts such as C/P and advising Members accordingly.

Christina Tsouni (Greece)

Hakan completed the LLM in International Maritime Law in 2006. He is currently working as an inhouse lawyer at Yardimci Law Office in Istanbul, Turkey.

Djan Venturim (Brazil)
Djan Venturim is a Brazilian law graduate who achieved his LLM in International Maritime Law from the University of Wales, Swansea in 2007. He is currently working at Charles Taylor Consulting, a world wide established company engaged in risk assessment, marine casualty surveying and loss prevention advice using their desktop insurance adjusting, legal and technical field capabilities, in the areas of hull, cargo, liability, audit and review, ports and terminals and claims management services. Djan joined Charles Taylor Consulting in August of 2008. He works in the Cargo Department as a Claims Handler and is involved in marine claims handling and adjusting for a major oil and petrochemical organisation and deals mainly with claims related to the sea carriage of oil derivate and chemical products.

Christos Vezouvios (Cyprus)
Christos completed his LLM in International Maritime Law in 2007. Following his admission to the Cyprus BAR in 2008, he is currently employed as an Advocate with Andreas Neocleous & Co LLC, the largest and a leading law firm in Cyprus. His main areas of practice, inter alia, include immovable property matters, foreign investment in Cyprus, international tax aspects of establishing residence in Cyprus and competition law. Zaid is a Jordanian registered lawyer since 2005. Having completed his LLM degree in International Commercial and Maritime Law in 2009, Zaid was appointed as the Contracts Manager for Arab Bank in 2010.
