Swansea Law jumped 21 places to earn a spot in the top 35% of law schools in the UK in the Guardian League Table for Law 2015.
This is among the most significant of increases for any UK law school this year. Swansea Law is now ranked 34 of 97 in the Guardian League Table and 2nd in Wales.
‘This is an impressive achievement’, said the Head of Swansea Law, Professor John Linarelli. He continued, ‘Swansea Law is on the rise, as all of the indicators are showing. The staff at Swansea Law work very hard for our students’.
The Guardian uses eight criteria in its ranking, including student satisfaction with the course. In the last National Student Survey 2013, Swansea’s LLB scored an impressive 94% for student satisfaction on the course, 16th in the entire country and 1st in Wales for teaching and feedback.
The Guardian league table includes Criminology, which is part of the College of Law at Swansea. Swansea Criminology boasts an innovative curriculum in the field.
