Law and Criminology leap up the Guardian University League Table

The College of Law has achieved remarkable success by climbing up 23 places in the Guardian League Tables for 2017. This result puts Swansea Law School ahead of several Russell Group universities such as Bristol, Exeter, Southampton, Cardiff, Manchester, Newcastle and Sheffield and is a clear indication of the progress that the School is making under the leadership of Professor Elwen Evans QC.

The appointment of Professor Evans, who is a leading criminal Silk, as the Head of the College has had a positive impact both internally and externally and the College is making a great progress on all fronts, from teaching satisfaction to employability prospects.

We are also delighted that the Department of Criminology has also achieved a great success in the same table topping the recently established league table ranking criminology departments in the UK. This is remarkable achievement given that more than 60 departments in the UK offer courses in the area of criminology.
