We celebrated in style on January 10th with a formal ceremony at Swansea University Bay Campus with the formal ceremony in the Great Hall followed by a reception and prize presentation in The Core. Wishing all our graduates the best of luck with the next steps on their career path.

Family support worker and children’s volunteer Barbara-Jane Davies realised her dreams about becoming a solicitor and graduated with her GDL and LLM in Advanced Legal Drafting degree.

Retired Detective Chief Inspector Peter Doyle proudly received his Master’s degree in Applied Criminal Justice and Criminology after studiously turning his practical experience into theory.

Honorary degree: Helen Mary Jones

Helen Mary Jones, Plaid Cymru Assembly Member and campaigner for equality and social justice, was presented with the DLitt award.

She has made a significant contribution to social rights and social politics in Wales in relation to equal opportunities, tackling abuse against women, and ensuring the democratic rights of young people and children. Read more here.
