About Us

The Centre for Global Legal Priorities (CGLP) has as its aim the production of research on the evolving structure of international law and European Union law. Contemporary international law serves the international community of states in strategically governing pressing global challenges. As a consequence, international law assumes a regulatory function and interacts more closely with European Union law and with other regional law. Within this overall approach, the Centre explores the development of specific legal priorities, such as the economy, human rights, the environment and the oceans, through the  range of methodologies.
