Entry requirements

The Foundation Degree is a solid offering equivalent to the first 2 years of a BSc (Honours) degree programme, and in fact will lead to the possibility of direct entry onto the third year of the BSc programme in Software Engineering.  As such, the entry requirement is set to be on par with those of the BSc degree course.  However, these allow for a recognition of relevant experience in the case of mature students who do not have adequate A levels or equivalent academic results, and the expectation is that such recognition will be made in the case of the majority of applicants to the FD programme.
