Careers and Employability Service
One of the University's key aims is "to prepare and promote the employability of students". The Careers and Employability Service plays a key role in fulfilling this aim by providing services that can help you develop the knowledge, skills and qualities to get your first job. These attributes will subsequently enable you to manage your future career effectively.
We offer impartial advice and guidance from professionally qualified Careers and Employability staff in a supportive environment.
Our services include:
- Individual advice on a wide range of careers topics, as well as postgraduate study and funding
- Mock interviews and advice on the recruitment process
- The Swansea Employability Award
- Information resources for personal and career development
- Access to information on work opportunities including: work experience, jobs for after graduation, immediate graduate vacancies, part-time and temporary jobs and volunteering
- The Go Wales work experience placement programme
- The Gradintel job matching service
- Skills development presentations by employers, professional bodies and voluntary organisations
- An annual programme of Careers and Employability talks and events
- An annual Careers Fair
