Courses cover: Language classes, traditional customs, cultural excursions.

We are delighted to offer students the opportunity to visit China, increasingly one of the world’s most influential nations! Students can chose from one of three programmes located in the distinct city destinations of Dalian, Harbin, or Weihai. Each 4 week programme offers first hand insights into traditional Chinese culture and customs in the continuously evolving nation. Students will also have the opportunity to learn Mandarin and can practice their language skills when visiting as you visit modern cities and ancient and historic monuments.

Eligibility: Open to level 1 & 2 and PG students in good standing. Unfortunately level 3 students are not eligible to apply.  (The Chongqing Summer Programme is only available to PG students).

Weihai

Suited to:
• Students who are keen to focus more on the culture of China  than the language 
• Students who have a larger budget.

• Students who are already learning Mandarin on campus or elsewhere.
