Swansea University sends a warm welcome to Malaysian students.  We have received hundreds Malaysian students to our safe and friendly campus for many years, allowing us an extensive network of very successful alumni.  Students study with us for a full range of subjects and levels.  Our Islamic provision is excellent and helps students settle comfortably into life in Swansea, allowing them to focus on their studies with the support of the Muslim population and services. 

Entry Requirements

Undergraduate Programmes: 

Candidates are expected to have achieved a STPM with a minimum Average Grade 3.00 (B) awarded; with a SPM grade 6 or above in English (or equivalent).

Postgraduate Programmes:  

Successful completion of a relevant Bachelors degree from a recognised institution with a minumim of a Second Class Lower Division or CGPA 2.75 awarded including an IELTS 6.5 with 6.0 in each part of the test (or equivalent).

Engineering Foundation Programme.

Candidates are expected to have achieved a SPM (grades 1 - 6 in lieu of GCSEs) with SPM grade 6 or above in English.

Tuition Fees and Scholarships

Tuition fees range approximately from £12,500 - £16,950 per year. Specific tuition fees can be found on each of the course pages. Please choose your undergraduatepostgraduate taught or research course from the A-Z listings and fees can be found under the 'tuition fees' section.

Swansea University International Scholarships

Swansea University offers a range of international scholarships to help the most talented and ambitious students to reach their potential. To be eligible to apply for a scholarship, you must have submitted an application to study at Swansea University as you will need your student number to complete the scholarship form.  

If you wish to be considered for a scholarship, it is advised that you should to apply to study at Swansea University as soon as possible to avoid any possible delays.

Online directly: you can submit an application form using our online system.  You will be required to send us your transcripts, English language test certificate and a personal statement.
