KenyaSwansea University is proud to welcome bright enthusiast Kenyans each year across an array of programs from Engineering to Psychology. Our student-run African Caribbean Society is a great network which our Kenyan students particularly enjoy and with a vibrant East-African local community in Swansea, home comforts are also close at hand.‌

Information for Kenyan Students

Kenya Entry Requirements

Undergraduate Programmes: 
Candidates are expected to have achieved a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE): BCC - AAB with General Certificate of Education English Language grade C equivalent.

Postgraduate Programmes:  
Candidates must hold a Bachelor Degree, or its equivalent, from a recognised University/College of Higher Education with a minimum of a Second Class Lower Division or Grade C with General Certificate of Education English Language grade C or equivalent.


Please note that some courses may require higher entry requirements and/or English Language requirements. You are advised to check with the individual course, or check the conditions stated in your offer letter. Please see the entry requirements page for further details

Swansea University International Scholarships

Swansea University offers a range of international scholarships to help the most talented and ambitious students to reach their potential. To be eligible to apply for a scholarship, you must have submitted an application to study at Swansea University as you will need your student number to complete the scholarship form.  

If you wish to be considered for a scholarship, it is advised that you should to apply to study at Swansea University as soon as possible to avoid any possible delays.
