Welcome to Institute of Advanced Telecommunications (IAT) at Swansea University.

Our reliance on telecommunications is greater now than ever before, yet much of what is taken for granted in everyday life would not have been possible without the scientists and researchers driving these advances forward.

IAT is a unique institute, focused on Research and Postgraduate teaching in all aspects of telecommunications. We aim to be at the forefront of knowledge development and transfer by training world-class scientists and engineers, as well as cultivating industry partnerships to provide innovative solutions to complex business and technological problems.
