What did you enjoy the most about the course and studying at Swansea University?
The variety between the science and arts aspects of the course.
What skills did you learn from completing the course and how did they help you get a job?
How to conduct thorough research, especially in Medical Science. This has proved invaluable in my roles since graduating in particular preparing papers and presentations for the Secretary of State Health Panels.
What have you gone on to do since graduating?
Since graduating I have worked as a Business Analyst and Product Manager for the Medical Licensing aspect of the Driving Vehicle Licensing Agency, and a Business Intelligence Analyst for St John Ambulance Western Australia.
Where are you working now?
I am now a Business Intelligence Analyst for City of Swan, in Perth, Western Australia.
What would your advice be to new students?
My advice would be to try and formulate a career path early if you really enjoy particular aspects of the degree. Hitting the ground running after you graduate is vital.
