Healthcare Sciences Employability

Use your interest in science to make a difference to people's lives

Healthcare science staff do a variety of jobs in the NHS covering life sciences, physiological sciences and physical sciences, if you have an interest in science and want to help people this could be the career for you.

Almost all of the previous graduates of the healthcare sciences have gone on to work in their chosen profession in the NHS, mainly in Wales but also in England. These students typically commence work in Band 5 Practitioner roles. Significant proportions of our graduates now work in Band 6 and Band 7 (specialist) roles.
