Welcome from the Head of Department
Welcome to the Department of Psychology at Swansea University.
We undertake internationally acclaimed research and high quality teaching in all areas of experimental psychology. Our work spans areas of pure and applied research that includes cognitive psychology, perception, learning, EEG, psychopharmacology, brain injury, sleep, and clinical and health psychology. We have a thriving department that enthuses academic staff, research officers and students alike. We have extensive research links with other parts of our College of Human and Health Sciences, with the College of Medicine, and with other Universities worldwide. We have a weekly visiting speaker series (Wednesdays at 1pm) to which all members of this University, and visitors from other Universities and other bodies, such as the local NHS trusts, are very welcome.
If you are interested in being a student here, or are interested in our research, or are seeking collaborations for research projects and grant applications, please do contact any of our academic staff, or support staff for BSc and MSc applications, or contact me at the email address or phone numbers below.
Best regards,
Professor Mark Blagrove
