Meet the Team
Barry has worked in Audiology since 2003 and is the programme manager for the BSc Healthcare Science (Audiology) course and Certificate in Higher Education in Basic Audiological Practice at Swansea University. He has a keen interest in helping those with hearing loss overcome the problems of listening to speech in amongst background noise. He is providing strategic input into the audiology clinic and has been involved in the development from the start.
Alice Davies is a qualified Audiologist with dual RCCP and HCPC registration as an NHS Clinical Audiologist and a Hearing Aid Dispenser. Since qualification in 2010, she has gained valuable experience in Adult Aural Rehabilitation with particular expertise in Tinnitus and Hyperacusis Therapy. Alice is currently employed as a Lecturer in Audiology at Swansea University and as a Senior Audiologist within the local health board.
Raz Miah has been working as an Audiologist in the NHS for over 15 years performing various diagnostic hearing assessments and fitting hearing aids to both adults and children. Raz has extensive experience in providing aural rehabilitation and a member of the South Wales Cochlear Implant Programme. Raz is also a part-time lecturer and involved with the Swansea University Audiology clinic as a hearing aid dispenser.
