Research Assistant - Dr Bernadette Sewell MSc, PhD
Berni completed her MSc in Botany at the University of Vienna in 2005 before graduating in 2009 with a PhD in Biomedicine (allergy research) from the University of Worcester. She received a postgraduate certificate in health economics from the University of Aberdeen in 2010 and has been working at the College of Human and Health Sciences at Swansea University since April 2009. Her main expertise is in quantitative research including project planning, organisation, management as well as data analysis and writing up of health economic evaluations. Since her appointment at Swansea University she has been involved and responsible for various projects ranging from Clostridium difficile management and detection over cardiac rehabilitation to breast cancer.
Berni is also involved in teaching of health economics modules and student supervision since January 2011.
