Following the success of its first Summer Symposium, the Postgraduate History Society is delighted to announce the first Postgraduate Winter Symposium, to take place on Tuesday 1st December.
Proposals are invited for 20 minute papers covering any aspect of research connected with the study of History. It is open to students at any stage of their research from any department, and history may be intepreted in a very broad sense. There is a strong hope that students from a range of departments will feel able to contribute, and the Society especially encourage people from all postgraduate courses (MA, MPhil, PhD) to take part. The aim is to provide a friendly and supportive environment in which ideas can be raised and discussed. Final-year undergraduates who wish to present are also welcome to apply, in consultation with the Symposium organisers.
For further information, including details of how to volunteer a paper or to register for attendance only, please consult the webpages of the Postgraduate History Society.
