Hard working graduate earns place on graduate work scheme
International business management graduate Jonathan Bradfield will be taking up a prestigious graduate placement with a national company following receipt of his degree at the Swansea University degree and award ceremony at the Great Hall, Bay Campus today (22 July).
Jonathan, aged 21 from Bargoed, graduated with a 2:1 in BC International Business Management (North America) from the School of Management. Jonathan is an excellent example of a hard-working and ambitious student, who strives for well-rounded experiences at university. He completed a Study Abroad year in York University, Toronto, Canada where he made some lifelong friends and travelled to amazing destinations such as Niagara Falls, Montreal and New York.
Jonathan endeavoured to also gain work experience to complement his Study Abroad year, and as such he joined the Placements team within the School of Management as a “SPINtern” on the university’s SPIN programme.
Jonathan was resourceful and hard working as a SPINtern, and was an asset to the Placements team. Jonathan has now secured a prestigious place on Brace’s graduate scheme, illustrating that his hard work and dedication to increasing his employability has paid off.
Speaking of his time at Swansea University Jonathan said: “I’ve had the opportunity to experience so many new things whilst at Swansea University and make so many great friends along the way. My time spent at Swansea has provided me with a great platform from which to enter the world of world where I will hopefully be able to apply some of the lessons learned from my course in real world business scenarios. It is for this reason that I am very grateful to all the lecturers and academic staff who have helped me right the way through my university life, they’ve helped make it a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
