Christopher HallamChristopher Hallam is a PhD candidate at the Centre for History in Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and works part-time for the International Drug Policy Consortium (IDPC) as a researcher and analyst. His doctorate research focuses on the emergence, operation and transformation of opiate subculture in Britain, particularly in London, between the 1920s and the late 1950s.
