Botanical Gardens Volunteer Programme

Swansea University Botanical Gardens Volunteer Programme

Learn new skills, make new friends, get some fresh air, exercise and help us to restore Swansea University’s Botanical Garden to its former glory!

Set in the grounds of Singleton Park Campus, the listed Botanical Garden contains rare and unusual botanical specimens plus resident foxes, bats, hedgehogs and even an occasional otter!

This listed site is currently undergoing restoration work which includes the removal of invasive species and the creation of new pathways, ponds and cascades.

The Botanical Garden Volunteers meet with the Grounds Team every Wednesday afternoon to help with a variety of projects from clearing paths through to creating wildlife habitats.
