Directorate Overview


Estates & Facilities Management (E&FM) is a multi-faceted professional services directorate led by Mr Craig Nowell.

The Directorate is responsible for the strategic and safe operational management of the University's physical estate and a broad range of services which impact daily on campus users and stakeholders; from staff and students to visitors and contractors.  

E&FM is organised into three focused and functionally aligned sections;

Commercial and Campus Services is led by Mr Paul Robinson and can be broken down into seven distinct areas each of which works to deliver outstanding, customer focussed services across the University;

Estate Services is led by Mr Ian Macpherson and is responsible for providing focused and specialist Estate/Facility Management Services and Capital Project Management capabilities.
